Having loved drawing since he was very young. After university, Kuang Hong first encountered digital arts in 2001.

He worked in Shanghai Media Group before moving to Beijing in 2003, he now works as an art director for a game company, also done 2D concept arts including characters, monsters, and environments.

Hong contributes to various top magazines like Fantasy Magazine, ImagineFX, Computer Arts China, Kikan-S, as well as illustrations for TCGs and publishers for novel covers and tutorial books. His works have also been featured in Spectrum 14, Fantasy Art Now, Ballistic Publishing's Exotique and Expose series, Advanced Photoshop Magazine, etc.
