it is an old tibetian hunter and his falcon, an exercise for old man's face and furrow.. 12-14hours or so.

used some references of old men to study. this is my 2nd up close realism study ~_~

because of the way they live and bathe very little, these people's skins are always very dark and dirty.

your feedback is welcomed. thank you for looking. ^^

Manji is the protagonist of this comic who was trying to help Rin out with his undying body. The character in comic is very dramatic.

no photo and texture for it,cost 8 hours to draw.by photoshop

this colossus is a cursed manito,he likes destroying things of nature,especially the forest.this creature has been wanted by a elf tribe.that day the colosuss had got a stalker,a elf sentinel,
who was patiently staying behind of the block, waiting for his army to come and defeat the big enemy.

this work have been done early in 2007,cost about 7-10hours.

Inspired by Beijing opera. A character design I planned to do a series for in 2006, but it became my experiment into environments instead later on. -_-;;;

The monster's controller is neither the crawling character beneath nor the huge opera face mask, but the glowing spirit in the center.

Most disciples in the opera troupes are from lowly families that could not afford to raise their child, studying under famous performers or troupes hoping to one day gain the high social status as a celebrity. The training and treatment were extremely difficult and painful, those who couldn't do well were punished and abused to the extent it was inhumane. The ones who couldn't hold out and survive, their bodies were thrown into a ditch or corpses.

As time passed, the angered souls slowly conjured into a huge spiritual entity that gathered and used corpses as it's puppets.

Strong elemental and magical attack, but due to their hatred the attack power is not consistent because of mental instability~

was my first experimental piece with environmental/scenic/scapes stuffs and also the first piece of work that i did completely in photoshop. took some references from a piece by Yanick Dusseault.

though my style for environmental has changed now but still hope to get some comments and views on it. ^^

Something done earlier last year, Software was Photoshop CS.

I know I've disappeared for a while, sorry about it. I promise I'll post more frequently now, starting with the older ones. I figure it's best to show them in chronological order so I can present a sense of how my work had evolved and progressed. read harder you should be able to understand the poem :P the subject in written actually refers to tarot and poker cards. major deck gone minor cards stay (our familiar poker deck) and 2 jokers come around. the subject in picture is the one who made mark and make the rules and changes. oh poker cards can be used for fortune telling.
and that's my little passing of tarots to poker.
was testing new brushes and styles of painting cloths for this one, done in painter6. comments and crits welcomed, hope the little poem wasn't too distracting.
